We invest in the private equity of undervalued high growth early stage African businesses, African Impact bonds & African Eurodollar bonds
LCMFunds was founded to offer vetted investments to Africans on the African continent, in diaspora & global investors interested in African emerging markets. We target consistent returns by allocating capital in our sectors of competence (technology, consumer/entertainment & plant based consumer) and high yielding emerging market fixed income investments.
Our goal is to annually compound capital entrusted to us at an above average rate by investing in undervalued high growth African businesses solving challenging society problems hence creating impact .
Our style is classic value investing with growth at reasonable price. We offer value for money to our investors by offering ZERO annual management fees. Hence we only make money on exit in our private equity investments.

AFRICA PRIVATE EQUITY
Africa Private Equity Investment Holding is our offering to acquire minority and majority equity of undervalued cash flow positive African companies in our sectors of competence from financial services, fintech/technology, plant based fast moving consumer goods (FMCGS) companies, affordable housing companies to entertainment businesses. These companies create jobs in African communities & help meet UN 2030 SDG goals. This offering is currently for sophisticated investors only and targets 3X returns on exits. Minimum for professional individual investors is $1 million & $10 million per institution. We do not charge annual fees.

SHORT DURATION AFRICAN IMPACT & EUROBOND STRATEGY
LCMFunds’ short duration Impact and Eur0bond strategies aim to give savers and investors consistent USD annualized returns from prudent bond analysis and management. Minimum for professional individual investors is $150,000 & $5 million per institution
SECTORS
Plant Based Consumer
The African Plant based consumer food sector is a very important sector due to its preventative nature such as the reduction of chronic illnesses like cardiovascular, high blood pressure which are prevalent in African communities. An increase in locally grown and processed plant based alt proteins in Africa will reduce the reliance on the importation of processed protein like frozen chicken to Africa & lead to creation of local jobs and know how. Finally an increase in plant based diets in Africa will reduce the effects of climate change by using less land and water resources. The African diet is predominantly plant based and we support and invest in undervalued innovative companies that enhance and increase the prevalence of healthy African plant based foods
TECHNOLOGY/FINTECH
Technology companies such as fintech in Africa are reducing frictions and meeting the demand for financial services ranging from digital banking of the unbanked population to business banking and payments. We support and invest in undervalued African technology that solve market frictions and are led by tremendous leaders.
FMCG CONSUMER & ENTERTAINMENT
The African fast moving consumer sector and entertainment sector are very vibrant sectors that have shown some good and timely financial exits for investors while creating societal impact from creation of jobs to providing first class entertainment for Africans to relax and recuperate (mental health). We support undervalued and high growth African FMCGs and entertainment businesses
SHORT DURATION EURODOLLAR BOND & IMPACT STRATEGY
Short duration (1-2 year) African Eurodollar & Impact bonds are our main fixed income strategy for investors and savers on the African continent to hedge against local currency depreciation and earn investment income.
